I can't think of which department to file a credit check which has not been allowed by you, but he broke the law.
We had the same thing happen to us. Some small place in the midwest sent us a letter on how they could save us money each month and they had an accurate list of what we owe and to whom.
It makes you wonder what's going on out there.
I hope you get to the bottom of it and get your attorney.
